Our first ever “pop-up shop”

For one night only, we have a shop! Everything we sell will be there, with all fabrics available from the bolt, plus bindings, haberdashery, and both Lucy and I on hand to give any advice you might want. It’s all very exciting!

Dolls, dolls, dolls

We had to wait a while for the delivery of “Dress up days” from Riley Blake.  It was a range with which we both fell in love and couldn’t wait to get our hands on.  There are 6 coordinating fabrics in each colourway, and a sew-your-own Doll panel.

Here’s the finished doll, isn’t she lovely?  And I was pleasantly surprised just how straightforward she was to make.

made-dollThe instructions are really clear and easy to follow.  The panel also comes with three outfits, two pillowcase dresses and one shirt dress.

doll-panelThe panel comes with seam allowances included and can easily be put together in an evening.  You can buy just the printed panel, or just to make it even easier, we have kits that come with everything you’ll to make your own beautiful doll on sale in our shop.

(The full range is also available as a bundle of fat quarters… perfect for a co-ordinating quilt or some cushions…)

We are carrying the blue and purple colourways, so which is your favourite?

Happy sewing!
